Includes discussion of: Harrison's move abroad for his health, the need for an operation on his throat, and his request for advice from MacBride concerning acquiring funds for a research assistant to continue his work on evolution and heredity via breeding experiments with moths; the positive outcome of the Council's consideration of Harrison's funding needs; the sum required, with MacBride suggesting £200 for one year, but Harrison requesting £120 for a graduate assistant for six months.
