DescriptionLetters and documents on the participation of Fellows, and invitations, to the coronation procession and ceremony for the crowning of KIng Edward VIII. With some details on decorations for Burlington House.

Sir William Bragg was invited to the coronation ceremony as a member of the Order of Merit. His place as the Royal Society's official representative was taken by Sir Henry Lyons. Seats were erected outside Burlington House to view the procession, and ballotted for among learned society Fellows.
