DescriptionRecord of a conversation with Mr Sullivan (Chairman) Mr Rous (Deputy Chairman) Mr Boyd (late Deputy Chariman), Mr Christoper Burrow and Mr George Amyard (Directors) concerning the times and places of observing the Transit of Venus on 6 June 1761 and the assistance and encouragement to be expected from the Directors of the East India Company.

Note: Several other Directors, not present at this particular Conversation, expressed to me their Readiness and Inclination to give us all the encouragement and assistance in their power.
