Not having a printed copy of the work, Hunt informs Hartley that the text Hartley is enquiring about is also to be found in Wallis's 'Memorials'. Photographic copies of the pages in question are included.

Described are the precursory meetings of the 1640s which would lead to the formation of the Royal Society - people present, matters discussed.
