Description | Taylor regrets that owing to family commitments he will not be able to act as Secretary of the Royal Society during the remainder of the present session.
Also, Taylor describes an account he has had from Pierre Remond Montmort 'of what passed at the French Academy relating to Dr Keil's paper, which it seems 'they don't care to print'.
Taylor also states he has 50 bottles of champagne for Newton from Montmort. |
