DescriptionDiscussion of method and presentation of magnetic observations. Sabine is yet to receive proofs for his dip and variation charts and asks Lloyd if he sees Captain [Francis] Beaufort to find out what is happening with these. Sabine encloses a note which he would like Lloyd to pass to Mr [John David] Roberton, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society [not enclosed], and asks Lloyd to pass back anything Roberton might have for Sabine.
