DescriptionSabine has been commissioned by the Royal Society to order instruments for the Pacha of Egypt's Cairo observatory.

Sabine states that he was for a long time aware that the man behind the 'Cui Bono' criticisms of their magnetic scheme was 'Stephens'.

Comments on Sir David Brewster's recent knighthood.

Sabine has had a heated discussion with the instrument maker Dollond was aggrieved not to have received more commissions for instruments to be used in the magnetic scheme.
