The volume covers manuscripts received between January 1933 and June 1939, which corresponds to printed volumes 232 to 238 of Philosophical Transactions A for physical sciences and printed volumes 139 to 174 of Proceedings A

A sheet pasted on inside cover tallies all entries from 1933 to November 1939 inclusive.
