DescriptionHearing that Mr Newton does not have the book of plans, asks Newton to search for it. Explains remembering distinctly, after Newton visited Acton with Mr Few to adjust matters, the book being left wrapped in paper and bearing Newton's name at the Craven Hotel. Explains remembering Newton telling Weld he wanted to make a small alteration in it As for the suggestion the book has been sent to another surveyor, explains Newton is the only one in the employment of the Royal Society. Again expresses need to have the book. [See MS/426/244 and MS/426/249]
