Description | Informs of the decision of the Council of the three recommendations from the British Association. For the first recommendation to establish a reflector on the Cape of Good Hope. the decision was postponed for further consideration. The second recommendation, to have the level of the fish survey reduced to a mean sea level received the concurrence of the entire Council. As for the third recommendation, that the British arc of the Meridian be published in full, the Council agreed and will recommend the effect to the government. |
