DescriptionInforms Sir David Brewser of no recollection of the terms of the £100 grant being changed for the purchase of a heliostat to that of a Solar Telescope. Explains others have also been asked and also have no recollection of this change. States [John William] Lubbock would like to report to the Council of Brewser's findings 'in proper shape' and does not anticipate any difficulty in explaining the circumstances. [See MS/426/43]
