DescriptionReplies regarding the expedition of Captain F L McClintock, in command of the H. M. S. Bulldog to conduct deep seas soundings off the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Greenland and Labrador, and the Admiralty requests the advise of the Royal Society. Explains that as the meeting of the Council took place after McClintock's departure, they were unable to take advantage of the matter. However to glad to hear he has been provided with guidance before his departure.
