DescriptionIn connection to a latter of 28 Sepetember 1858, referring to the decay of woodwork in the basement of Burlington house due to dry rot, informs the decay has now spread over the surface of the basement and the floor of the ground level. This may indicate an infection of the beams and timbers and asks for a competent person to visit and inspect the timbers.
