DescriptionIn relation to the manuscripts containing the records of the Toronto Observatory, which was sent to General Sabine in 1853. States that the Royal Society is on holiday but [William] Spottiswoode will return the manuscripts to [Charles] Carpmael as requested. Asks for Carpmael to consider the transfer as provisional until the Council can meet in October and decide on the matter. [See MS/427/227]
