Title | Letter from Dugald Clerk to Profesor Arthur Schuster, President, The British Association, The University, Manchester |
Date | 6 September 1915 |
Description | The Engineering Sectional Committee passed off successfully with Beilby in the chair and the First Sea Lord attending. It was proposed to send all inventors' notes to Lord Fisher's Admiralty committee and Lloyd George's military equivalent. The Society's committee would then be free to experiment and advise. Clerk disagrees strongly with H S Hele-Shaw's British Association Engineering Section address and has declined to join his committee. |
