Title | Letter from J T [James Thomson] Bottomley, 13 University Gardens, Glasgow, to [Joseph] Larmor |
Creator | Bottomley; James Thomson (1845-1926); Irish physicist |
Date | 30 April 1908 |
Description | He was disappointed not to be in London, but caught a chill last week. He had made arrangements to be at Larmor's discourse tomorrow evening, but an unexpected difficulty has intervened. He hopes Larmor has received the first proofs of the reproduction of the daguerreotype and a number of portraits from Stewart of Largs. These may be interesting, or selected, to be placed in the Library. Mr. Wilson, the representative of Kelvin and James White Limited in London, is taking a number of instruments to be exhibited. He hopes that Larmor has everything that they can supply. |
