Description | He hears from Germany that it is intended to celebrate Von Baeyer's 50th jubilee in academic fashion - by sending him congratulatory telegrams. This was the course pursued when Helmholtz was celebrated. Armstrong thanks Larmor for the Wylde lecture, some of which he did not understand, and hopes to speak with Larmor about it. He closes by saying that Baeyer should be given the next Copley Medal.
