Beaufort remarks that Dayman would perform the office proposed by Sabine very well, but suggests appointing Lord [John] Wrottesley [2nd Baron Wrottesley], ‘superintendent of the winds’. Sabine approves of the work conducted by [Henry Mangles] Denham and [William] Chimmo.
