DescriptionBroun updates [Sabine] on magnetic affairs at [Makerstoun Observatory]. Declination observations will be printed in angular measure, while horizontal and vertical force will be in scale divisions. Broun discusses difficulties in corrections of the vertical force. Discussion on the arc of vibrations and comparisons to the observatory at Greenwich. Broun refers to Mr Russell’s term observations. Broun notes their ‘greatest magnetic disturbance’ occurred on 6th May.
