TitleLetter from Thomas Grubb, Dublin to Edward Sabine
Date30 October 1865
DescriptionDiscussion regarding the arrival of official papers from Melbourne. Grubb mentioned these ‘official papers to Lord [William Parsons] Rosse and included a note in which he stated it was Grubb’s place to wait for a contract rather than ‘draw up one for the approval of others’ [possible reference to the great Melbourne telescope]. However, Grubb outlines what he considers suitable for the contract [to build the great Melbourne telescope].
