DescriptionHoward is unable to attend the next meeting of the [British Association], but having been ‘a little occupied with meteorology’ will send his results to Sabine. Howard would have liked to present his work on the ‘cycle of the seasons of Britain with the character of a model by which future periods of the like kind might have been anticipated’ and discusses the accuracy of his work and discrepancies he has found over the years.
