DescriptionMiller sends his report on the meteorology of the Lake District to be presented at The Royal Society. Describes the care, accuracy and attention taken to draw up the report and tables. If The Royal Society choose to print the Miller’s report in the [Philosophical] Transactions he would like ‘a few copies’. Miller intends to print the results of 1847 to circulate to friends. References the ‘past month of February’ regarding the atmospheric pressure, amount of rain, aurora and lunar eclipse. Miller wishes to take the temperature from the highest mountain peaks. Discusses the theft of instruments. Includes the expense of the experiments in 1847.
