DescriptionMiller accepts Sabine’s invitation. Miller wrote to ‘Merz of Munich’ on the suggestion of Professor [George Gabriel] Stokes, regarding the ‘possibility of constructing an object glass of 15 inches aperture and 15 feet focal length’. Miller informs Sabine of Merz’s reply, refers to his previous constructions, his ability to construct a 15 inch object glass, and the price.
