TitleLetter from Georg Balthasar Neumayer, Frankenthal to Edward Sabine
Date17 December 1867
DescriptionNeumayer sends Sabine the last publication of his work at the Flagstaff Observatory. Neumayer would be ‘very thankful’ for Sabine’s opinion regarding his last publication, and ‘such a kind of certificate would be of the greatest importance to’ Neumayer, as it would enable him to show the Board of Visitors of the Melbourne Observatory, and the Governor. Neumayer intends to visit Sabine in London to further his plans of ‘Australian exploration’.
