DescriptionLangberg is ‘flattered and gratified’ to be added to the list of names of corresponding members of the British Association. Compares the ‘true English hospitality’ and ‘good for nothing French politiske’. Langberg thanks Sabine for his offer to send his last magnetic publications. Refers to not being acquainted yet with Mr [François] Arago. Describes the best way to sends packages to Professor [Christopher] Hansteen, through Charles Tottie, the [Dutch] Consul in London.

Langberg includes observations made during his voyage using Hansteen’s apparatus. Discussion regarding observations made at Paris. Langberg intends to travel to Switzerland and Germany before returning to Christiania.
