Discusses balance and accounts for the building and instruments. Sabine suggests Meldrum ‘should include on the estimate the charge for a photoheliograph’ and describes its value. Sabine agrees with Meldrum’s preference for an Assistant from [England] and Meldrum’s opinion that he ‘should be provided with “working plans” in the way’ he proposes. |
