DescriptionThe scale coefficients of the bifilar magnetograph at Kew’ determined with the second magnet. ‘The magnet was mounted on’ 30th April 1858, describes the angle and mean distance of the magnet. Refers to the torsion circle and the magnetic curve. Includes the ‘value of K obtained by deflections’, temperature coefficient of the magnet, and horizontal force observations.
