DescriptionWilcox refers to sending abstracts of monthly and two hourly observations of instruments at [Lucknow Observatory] from June 1842 to May 1844, addressed to Sir [John] Herschel as the President of the Committee of Physics. Wilcox informs Sabine that only two out of 18 packets reached Herschel. Wilcox asks Sabine if there has been any improvement in the ‘mode of observing’. Reference to new instruments.
