Wartmann is currently writing a statement of the state of our knowledge of terrestrial magnetics, and requests Sabine for his latest publications on this subject, as their library does not yet possess the Philosophical Transactions. Describes a pleasant visit to Plymouth and hopes to visit the ‘three kingdoms’ again, describing his memory of meeting various scholars.
