DescriptionThe paper is in French. A note on the first page states that the paper was read on 5 June 1700 and entered into the Register Book [volume] 9 [page] 52. A note on the third to last page credits the paper to Monsr Geoffroy. There is a diagram and notes relating to an air thermometer which reacts faster than ordinary thermometers.
