Date28 January 1848
DescriptionFor Captain [William] Yolland's request for a list of observation books of General [William] Roy, used in the trigometric operations made between 1787 and 1790, informs with confidence that the Royal Society does not have copies of these. It may suit Yolland to hear that the Astronomer Royal [George Biddell Airy] has no copies either. Explains the archives of the Ordnance Office would be the most likely place to find them
