TitleCopy letter from W [William] Sharpey, Secretary of the Royal Society; to W DelaRue
Date17 December 1860
DescriptionReminds of the arrangements decided in June 1854 to distribute to members of the Chemical Society [Royal Society of Chemistry], who are not also fellows of the Royal Society, 'Proceedings' from the current set, for the cost of £20. States that as the costs of production has gone up, as well as the number of members, the Council of the Chemical Society will not object to the renegotiation of the arrangement. Explains that the volume of the 'Proceedings' have increased by half the the number delivered to from 200 to 295. The cost of the delivering the Nos. published in 1859-60 comes to £48.10, minus the composition, corrections and wood engraving.
