DescriptionInforms Upton, due to the absence of the of the chief officers of the Royal Society there has been no meeting of the Council since Upton's letter of the 29th was received. Therefore White is unable to provide the 'particulars' desired by Upton. The Council meets mid October and will then be able to inform of decision.
