DescriptionInforms Orton that the committee is undertaking work on the production of beta-eucaine for the Government, and that one of the substances requires is paraldehyde -- is inviting various institutions to participate in the production of paraldehyde, with materials expenses paid by the Government but labour being voluntary -- encloses notes from Dr Sidgwick of Oxford on the best method of production -- would like to have a reply as soon as possible.
