DescriptionInforms to having left Batavia on the morning of 27 March, through the Sunda Strait, passing Java Head in the morning of 28 March. Observes large fields of pumice stone remain floating on the Sunda Strait, with the bigger fragments covered in barnacles and marine animals. Notes the neighbouring land has recovered from the aftermath of the eruption as it now exhibits a verdant appearance.
