Description | Adelaide: Detailing the observed red glow in the sky, particularly in reference to the appearance of the moon. Comments on a remrkable circumstance about the red glow in that on several beautifully clear evenings there was not the slightest trace of it, whilst the next evening it would be intensely brilliant to nuisance. Mauritius: Reports remarkable sunsets and sunrises continuing with no sign of abating, however overall they are diminishing in frequency and intensity. Inscribed in pencil states the following: "Omitted in Met Mag for want of space". |
