| Description | Clerk called at the Admiralty to see Dumas and the mine gear which sits on the spherical case. Dumas will send a young naval officer to Heaton with the gear and to explain it. The horns do project a considerable distance, but might be substituted for a weight in the testing tank. Clerk is glad to hear that Parsons has simplified the design and thanks him for his energetic work. |
