TitleLetter from William B Hardy to D Noel Paton
Date29 October 1917
DescriptionThinks the meeting on Tuesday will be very important -- points out that 'it looks as though there would not be more than enough food to supply 3,000 calories per man' -- that the specific 'dynamic energy of the food stuffs' will therefore be important, and Hopkins and Leonard Hill are going to put it up for discussion. Thought that the Secion on maize was making its own arrangements. Will not send in the complete accounts to the Wheat Commission until he has received the London accounts -- has the assurance of Lord Rhondda, the Commission and the Royal Society as security.
