DescriptionInforms Fletcher that Monsieur Vilgrain is seeking the Food Committee's support against proposals to ration bread in France and Italy -- that the French and Italian governments have urged the English to take up bread rationing at the same time -- that the Food Committee and Wheat Commission are in agreement about the danger of such a step -- has decided to have a sub-committee draft a memo on the Food Committee's views, which will be presented to the Committee and foreign representatives the following week.
