DescriptionPointing out an error in the 'Directions', as 18(c) should read '(C) in carrying out the objects mentioned in paragraphs (a) and (b) due regard is to be had to the safety of the expedition as a whole otherwise a preference would be given to (a) which it was our particular object to achieve'. Lindley has replied at the bottom of Kempe's letter, stating that he is happy to make the amendments if he has made a mistake, but thinks it is better if some words are removed.
