DescriptionEncloses a memorandum for the Executive Committee for Kempe's immediate attention. Money is already due to Mr [Reginald] Skelton, recently appointed by the Admiralty as Engineeer to the Expedition. He will be going to Dundee to take up his duties next Monday, and will require some money. Longhurst cannot advance him the money without an approved memorandum from the Executive Committee. The Admiralty has still not answered the letter concerning Officer's pay, and so the three officers named in the memorandum are not drawing any pay at present.
