TitleLetter from Cyril Longhurst, National Antarctic Expedition, 1 Savile Row, to A B [Alfred Bray] Kempe
CreatorLonghurst; Cyril (1879-1948); National Antarctic Expedition secretary
Date20 October 1900
DescriptionThanks Kempe for returning the signed cheque for £1,702.10.0. Longhurst explains that a slight alteration was approved in the schedule of payments last week, as the shipbuilders had pointed out that there was a long interval between the third and fourth installements, but not between the sixth an seventh in stallements. Longhurst encloses an amended schedule [not present]. Copies have already been sent to the overseer at Dundee, the shipbuilders and Mr Smith the naval architect. Longhurst has sent a detailed financial report to Mr [Edward] Cocks who will pass it along to Kempe once he has reviewed it.
