Description | States that Sir Clements Markham has confirmed the Antarctic Executive and Joint Committees have not been ganted the power to alter their duties, and proposed alterations require the approval of the Councils of the Royal Society and Royal Geographic Society. The Royal Geographical Society passed a resolution at their last meeing and Cocks asks if the Royal Society are planning to do the same. He believes it would be a pity to meet without a clear position on dealing with the financial details. |
