DescriptionExplains that the 'Memorandum' that Markham gave him on 16 February has been brought to the attention of the Royal Society's officers, who agreed to not to review it until the Joint Committee had finished revising the instructions for the Commander and the Head of the Civilian Staff. The meeting due to take place between members of the Royal Society Council and the Royal Geograhical Society Council has further postponed dealing with it. Assures Markham that his 'Memorandum' has not been dropped.
