States he will be very pleased to be one of the hosts at he dinner to be given at the Athenaeum to Captain Scott and the officers of the Discovery on the 23rd. He supposes somebody is attending to the necessary arangements and if Kempe will let him know the amount of his share of the expenses he will be pleased to send a cheque for the same. He was down at Blackwall and visited the ship yesterday and shall if possible go again on Friday as he has just received on invitation for an 'at home' on Board at 4 pm
