DescriptionDr Wallis's account of Dr Goddards experiments of weighing mercury with glass canes was read and ordered to be registered.

Dr Goddard proposed an experiment of what force will compress the air into lesser dimensions, and in what proportion

Sir Robert Moray proposed to find out what bore a jet of water rises highest and of what figure the end of the pipe must be for that purpose, by experiment, alleging, that the end of the pipe being tapered, by that figure the cylinder of water incumbent on that bore presses more upon it, then by its own weight.

Dr Wren asked to the Earl of Sandwich's Observations made in his late sea voyage to to Portugal and the STraits, and to compare them with those made here of the same kind.
