TitleLetter from J T [James Thomson] Bottomley, 13 University Gardens, Glasgow, to [Joseph] Larmor
CreatorBottomley; James Thomson (1845-1926); Irish physicist
Date23 June 1908
DescriptionHe is sorry not to have written sooner to say how much he admired and prized the biographical notice written for the Royal Society. He had to read it thoroughly but he has been much pressed with work. He is glad that Larmor undertook the notice and astonished at the rapidly in which it was carried through. It gives an idea of many parts of Kelvin's work. He thinks it will appear soon and that Larmor will send a copy to Lady Kelvin, who has made great progress.
