TitleLetter from Horace T [Tabberer] Brown, The Athenaeum, Pall Mall, to [Joseph] Larmor
CreatorBrown; Horace Tabberer (1848-1925); British chemist
Date18 March 1918
DescriptionHe thanks Larmor for the proof and for drawing his attention to Jeffrey's paper in the March Philosophical Magazine. He quotes from the paper and discusses the structure of the stomata which may have led to a misunderstanding about diffusion in a leaf. He feels that Darwin was right in the matter. He is now quite used to seeing statements showing a misunderstanding of the fundamentals, citing an example by Dixon.
