TitleLetter from J C [John Carruthers] Beattie, Civil Service Club, Cape Town, to [Joseph] Larmor
CreatorBeattie; Sir; John Carruthers (1866-1946); British mathematician, physicist, and university vice-chancellor
Date11 April 1909
DescriptionHe finds no copy to hand of the report on the magnetic survey of 'this part of the world'. He has written to Dr. Chree, asking him to hurry the work up. He will never again undertake the printing of a report in England when he is in South Africa. The advantages do not compensate for the great delays. If Larmor wishes to communicate, a letter to Beattie at the South Africa College will be forwarded.
