TitleLetter from [Randal Mowbray Thomas Rawdon Berkeley, 8th Earl of] Berkeley, Foxcombe, near Oxford, to [Joseph] Larmor
CreatorBerkeley; Randal Thomas Mowbray Berkeley, 8th Earl of Berkeley (1865-1942); British physical chemist and landowner
Date1 February 1907
DescriptionHe sends the proof of the 'V.d.W. paper' together with Larmor's note on the connection between freezing point and o.p. He has taken the liberty of altering the word 'isohydric' to 'isotonic', giving reasons and has added a note dealing with the part of the v.p. paper cut out by the referee. He asks Larmor to forward it if he approves. He is sorry that Larmor could not come to the Faraday Society. Some good came of the discussion. Kahlenburg wrote a letter full of the same material as his last paper. Berkeley intends to go on holiday.
